RealNetworks Powers MetroSTUDIOSM, MetroPCS' Newly Launched Music and Video Storefront

SEATTLE —September 22, 2010— RealNetworks®, Inc. (NASDAQ: RNWK), the digital entertainment services company, today announced that it is powering MetroSTUDIO, a new digital entertainment application for MetroPCS Communications, Inc., the nation's leading provider of unlimited talk, text and Web wireless services on a no annual contract.

MetroSTUDIO provides a digital entertainment application that provides MetroPCS subscribers with full episodes and clips from NBC Universal, BET and Univision, and an extensive catalog of full-track songs, ringtones and ring-back tones. MetroPCS is offering MetroSTUDIO to customers on the first commercially launched 4G LTE mobile broadband network in the United States with service now available in Las Vegas, Nev., on the $60 service plan, taxes and regulatory fees included.
