End of Life Policy

RealNetworks is committed to providing high-quality, supportable solutions for our customers.

The development of new product features and functionality is influenced by demand for particular products and other ongoing core technical requirements.  These factors drive the need to introduce new products and upgraded product versions on a regular basis and to "end-of-life" older software versions in a methodical manner. This notice specifically lists the Real software versions that are currently being supported for those customers with active Upgrades & Support (U&S) contracts.

In general, support for Real products is provided for the current shipping major version. Support for the previous major version will be available for 1 year beyond the ship date of that release.

If you are using an unsupported software version, we recommend that you download the latest version from your RealNetworks Product Account Maintenance (PAM) site. If your U&S has expired, please contact a RealNetworks sales representative to activate your U&S contract, thereby allowing you upgrades to the latest version of our software.
